Alright.. I have my new FREE ebook.. and it looks great.. but what do I blog about?

That is a good question, and I’m sure if you’ve gotten this far you have a good idea in mind. When blogging there are two fundamentals you will start with.

What is the PURPOSE of your blog? These are the three choices:

- Business
- Personal
- Personal Monetized

With a business blog you will advertise some sort of product or service that you offer. There are many ways to do this and even if you have nothing to offer you can make your own affiliate blog selling other people’s products

With a Personal or Personal Monetized blog you blog about something you are passionate for. If you absolutely love playing instruments perhaps you could write up a blog about all the different instruments you can play, details on how to play, what instruments to choose, what styles there are, your favorite artists, ANYTHING you can dream of.

…but what is a monetized personal blog??

Alright lets say you get your personal blog going and you are passionate and write and write and this starts to get noticed because of the value you are putting out there. You say to yourself “hmm… I have a lot of traffic.. how can I turn this into profit?”. This is where you begin to monetize your blog.

That’s a whole different subject than we are on, but as you can see those are the 3 options you have if you are interested in blogging.

Let’s, of course, not limit ourselves to these options as these are just the fundamentals and once you pick one of these you can go a million different ways with them. Also even if you are getting lots of traffic it does not mean you have to monetize it in any way. Maybe you don’t want your viewers to see all kinds of stupid ads everywhere on your site just asking them to click away.

The choice is yours! Now take some action!
